Regrettably I am having to sell my immaculate Don Marine Solo. Two seasons ago the decks and cockpit were stripped back to bare wood and the deck and cockpit sides varnished with eight coats of Le Tonkinois varnish and the cockpit floor was given three coats of Interdeck slip resistant Polyurethane Squall Blue paint. The bottom was repainted with three coats of BS538 Post Office Red paint. At the same time the boat cover was replaced with a new Rain and Sun cover. As a (then) 74 year old I bought the SOLO as my last dinghy and hoped to get at least a couple of years use out it …. and hopefully more!
