A Salcombe Yawl, an open wooden varnished sailing dinghy, in good restored condition. Number:129 on the Register of the Salcombe Yawl Owners Association. She has a Teak laid decks, Teak grating and sole boards. 12ft Classic Sailing Dinghy, 1925
A forward keel stepped mast and a traditional tan canvas square lug sail. Tiller steering , two part rudder hangs from her transom, Purported to have been a tender / lifeboat in the early1900's. She carries a Builders plate with the name Tula Pipi ex Thistle, dated 1926. She underwent a complete restoration in 2017 by Kings Boatyard Pin Mill ,nr Ipswich. |Her present owner has spent having her kept re-varnished and re painted.
