Number 5282, built by Boatyard at Beer in 2011 for Speed Sails, the mould then became the Winder 2 - which is renowned for being quicker for the heavier helm. The mast is a Selden D+ with two North Sails, an ST-2K sail which is a mid-power sail and still in good racing condition, and a hardly used F2 sail that is more powerful. Sails match the rig. There is a flat trailing cover, breathable boom up cover, an undercover and a mast bag. The hull, rig, foils and sails are all in good condition making the boat ready to race. Well built boat by Speed Racing Dinghys. Speed have won many national and world championships in several classes but no longer make a Solo.
The construction is epoxy FRP and I've had the hull touched up by a pro in July 2024 to get rid of any little scratches and scrapes. Not sailed since.
The foils are Milanes and in good condition.
The Hyde sail is in VGC and has only been used for a couple of events.
Overall, the boat is in great condition and will be very competitive in a club fleet.
