This is a rare opportunity to own a reefable genoa for a GP14 dinghy. This is a class compliant full size genoa on a carbon fibre spar, with the bottom drum and top swivel incorporated within the spar. As the bottom drum is low profile, the foot of the genoa is closer to the deck, enabling higher pointing upwind.
This type of sail can be reefed by being partially furled, to provide a matched sail plan when the main sail is reefed. The spar keeps the sail in place, partially rolled, when reefed, unlike on a conventional furler.
