Blue Charm was first registered in 1963 with Eton College before entering private ownership. I have owned her for seven years and had a lot of fun in her. When I brought her, in 2011, I set about to renovate her as she had signs of dry rot in her decks and had her transom cut down to take an outboard motor! I fitted new transom along with new marine plywood decks and re-varnished. Hull finished in Royal Blue and she comes with a new galvanised road trailer with new wheels and running gear. Due to other committments Firefly F3027 is up for sale. Professionally rebuilt in 2016 by Tony Thresher she is in beautiful racing condition with new decks, bow and side tanks and lovely new centreboard case.
She also has a new Seldon boom, as new covers both undercover for trailing and overboom as pictured, carbon jibstick and a new Combi trailer.
Fully certified and ready to race, re weighed in 2016 she is now minimum weight with correctors following her rebuild.
