A modern family or training dinghy. Perfect for Mum or Dad and youngsters – small enough to handle easily ashore and afloat. Inspired by the UK Sea Cadets to replace their aging fleet, the RS Quest has rapidly become the best-selling dinghy of its type worldwide.
Durable roto-moulded polyethylene construction – space and stability. Means you can pull up onto a beach etc and not worry too much since the polyethylene is very robust.
Also a nice high boom to look after the little ones heads which was key for us as well as features such as handles in the case of practising capsizes etc.

We have had this around 2-3 years and got it direct from RS but barely used since with more than 2 people i.e. myself and my son and now he wants to go faster on our catamaran we have purchased to replace after he built up his skills and experience. There is a reason it is used as a great training boat in schools all over.
It is complete as seen from the photos with jib, main and spinnaker in excellent condition, launching trailer (no road trailer so you will need one to collect), cover, sail bags.
This was a boat costing in excess of £8K as per the photo of the pricing ours I believe is around 4-5 years old. Note the Gennaker has been used around 2-3 times and the Trapeze lines still in the bag as is the outboard motor mount brand new in the bag.
Ready to go for the summer fun straight into the water and perhaps as someone picking up a new hobby, as a family day out boat or just growing and refining skills on a stable but fun platform!
