I bought the dinghy in May 2023.
Detailed notes:
- The boat has only been sailed on fresh water.
- Very limited use by previous owners and myself.
- Registered in 2018 (I believe)
RIGS:
- The 5 rig/sail has only been used a few times (by myself and previous owner). So very good condition - 8/10
- The 9 rig has been used 10-15 times in light winds (by myself and previous owner) - 7 to 8/10
- The seven rig has been used more, but is still in good condition for racing - 6 to 7/10
- The 7 rig lower mast had a small chunk of the mast track break off. This was repaired by the previous owner with a short section of new track.
EXTRAS:
- Standard RS Aero padded rudder, daggerboard and spar bags. Includes some homemade over-deck retainers for the spars which I use while the boat is at the club.
- RS Aero Swivel mainsheet cleat. If you'd prefer a simple ratchet, the bits are available to convert back to the more common set-up.
- Carbon tiller extension
- JC strap - basically a bit of elastic with hooks for holding the boom out on a run in light winds.
- Righting lines to help you right the boat / get back in.
- The outhaul and downhaul control lines have been converted to 'overdeck' continuous lines
- The kicker/boom vang line is tapered (so you pull on a thicker bit of rope)
COVERS:
- Rain and Sun "Coolbreath" top cover - breathable and should last a long time
- Standard RS undercover, only used a couple of times
TRAILING:
- Standard aluminum launching trolley
Dinghy is located up at Grafham Water Sailing Club.
