Foxer sailing dinghy - Year 2013

Versatile dinghy in great condition, complete and ready to sail. The boat comes on a galvanised launching trolley with cover and with the option to purchase a matching road trailer / road base if you currently don't have one available.

The Foxer is an ideal craft for family sailing / cruising or racing - They are particularly roomy for their length, and have a high freeboard. This makes them a very much sit in, rather than sit on affair. They are equally at home being rowed or motored - A set of oars and rowlocks are included. A pad for a small outboard is built into the transom - I would recommend a small 2-2.5hp or electric if you plan to motor. At approx 73kg hull weight - they are quite light and easy to move around on land / launch.

This boat has clearly been very well looked after with minimal wear showing. The hull is very shiny with just a few scratches and blemishes from use, with no cracks or crazing showing in the cockpit / gunnel areas. The mast is a 2 part tubular alloy item with a similar boom. Spars are clean and not showing corrosion or wear on the fittings. The class legal Ulmans sail is very crisp and clean and will give years or service. The varnished ply rudder and dagger board are both good with a few chips and scuffs on the edges. Full rope set and bailer.
