Go anywhere, sail anywhere!
"Windhover" is all set for trailer-sailing. The Extreme roll-on roll-off trailer has a double geared winch for easy recovery. The main mast is in a tabernacle with hoisting tackle and goes up in seconds. The mizzen mast slots in place. The recently serviced Yamaha 4hp outboard is always in place, on the road or on the water.
She is the 68th wooden lugger built by John Elliott to John Watkinson's original design, and the third built under his own name after he left Kelly and Hall. She is in entirely sound condition and will pass any survey. She was comprehensively refinished a few years ago, and completely re-rigged to the Mk 3 standard: she has new spars and new sails, her "batten roached" mainsail making her a powerful sailer. The mizzen has a choice of a sprit boom or the original bumpkin. Oars, paddles and her original anchor are included.
She is complete and ready to sail, looking for a new home. (Age forces sale.)
