Collingwood Widebeam 60’x12’ houseboat or perfect holiday home

The Black Pig is a wide beam houseboat / holiday home built by premier boat builders Collingwood, which has recently been fitted out by the current owner and a professional joiner to a very high standard, featuring excellent quality materials and workmanship throughout.

This handsome boat offers a well-designed, contemporary interior with potential to add a second bedroom if required. The layout consists of a through kitchen, dining and living area with more than enough space to cook, dine and entertain. The fully fitted bathroom and good-sized bedroom are seamlessly connected by a corridor. There is plenty of space for individual free-standing furniture. A proven liveaboard, which has been an enjoyable floating home and would lend itself equally to being a holiday home as it has excellent handling.

Stern Deck Area
12’ X 6’6” max round ended. Having a full seat around the stern. Plenty big enough to entertain up 6. There is a removable table that could seat 4. Under floor is the engine bay.
All covered by a pram hood with removeable side panels.

Stern / Utility Room (potential second bedroom):
Size 7’ X 11,6” Entrance/exit doors with deck area. Engine area. Utility area currently houses washing machine and freezer. 240 volt consumer unit, 12 volt breaker/fuses, Victron MPPT controls to the 1000 watt solar panels. 5 x 130 amp hour leisure batteries (contained within the engine compartment) power a 3000 watt Victron multiplus inverter charger. Victron Bluetooth power monitoring system.

Living Area/Galley:
22’ X 11.6” Full width of the boat and comprises: handmade oak kitchen with oak worktops. Sink. Rangemaster cooker with full size oven, grill and hob – included in the sale. Shoreline fridge.
The bulkhead and lower cabin walls are panelled with cedar. Upper walls are painted pine cladding, the ceiling is Marine ply painted white with concealed led lighting.

There is a Villager 4.5kw multifuel stove. Tiles are on a fire board at the back and it sits on a moon rock base. Led lighting spots, concealed strip lighting and two led reading lamps.
240volt ring main and 12volt points with USB points for charging phones etc.

Bathroom:
6’ X 8’ The oval bath uses very little water (approximately 75 litres) due to its clever design. Full-size shower and sink, composting WC. Two heated towel rails. Fitted pine bathroom cabinet. The lower cabin walls are panelled with cedar. The upper walls and ceilings are painted pine cladding. Waste water is removed by a whale gulper pump.



Bedroom:
Located in the bow and measures 12’ x 11’6” Pine double bed with brand new never used mattress, there are extra water tanks fitted under the bed. Two fitted wardrobes. There are three radiators, two of which are positioned in the wardrobes as sometimes clothes can draw the moisture as they are quite close to water, to compensate for this both wardrobes are fully ventilated. 2 x Oak bed side cabinets and six Led spotlights and two led wall lights.

Through the double bow door is a small deck. It is plenty big enough for two chairs and a small table.

General Info:
The engine is a canal line 52 with 1000 hours use fully serviced. It has enough power to comfortably navigate moving water as well as canals and handling is excellent.

There is a brand new Wabasco pro 90 9kw boiler which runs the central heating and 90ltr calorifier with 1kw immersion heater. The boiler has 24 months warranty.

4 years boat safety scheme remaining

Boat blacked 2/2/2021 epoxy coated so will last 5 years.

RCA re-cert will be in place for the new owner.

Twin 13 KG LPG with auto switching regulator.
New 650-amp hour batteries and 1000 watt solar panels.
