This pretty, early boat has been gently renovated in recent years. Prior to our ownership (6 years) it had been sympathetically strengthened and a front buoyancy chamber added. It has dark-stained varnished decks, a varnished wood interior, including floor slats, set over a black-painted hull. Attractive wooden GP14, sail number 1985, built in 1958 by John Swinburne, South Shields, still bearing builder's plate. Solid mahogany frames,rudder and centreboard, many bronze fittings, original wooden mast.Same owner 40 years, used for family cruising on lakes when family young,laid up for 12 years, recently restored. Includes Snipe combination road trailer in very good condition,bouyancy bags,wooden paddle, 2 older foam type bouyancy aids, mainsail, jib, anchor, black Lakeland Plastics cover.
Much more stable than an Enterprise, good for tuition or gentle sailing with young family.
