Wayafarer World 10326 - built by Porters in 2003. White hull with red waterline stripe. New main and genoa only used for 1 week. Asymetric spinnaker for cruising or club racing, and symetrical spinnaker for racing in Wayfarer class. Centre sheeted (or can be changed to rear), auto ratchet blocks for spinnaker sheets. Launch trolley with large jockey wheel. New cover this year. Black tape on bow in picture is not covering damage, but is to stop water coming through asymetric pole aperture when racing with conventional kite. |

| Sailing Dinghies: Wanted: Wayfarer wanted (or similar) |
| Want a boat to take mates out sailing in, as well as possibly enter into races. Preferably a wayfarer or something similar with the same storage capacity, i.e capable of taking 3-4 adults out for a days sailing with enough room for a couple of boxes of beer, picnic box and a tent etc.
Must have:
complete set of sails (main, jib/storm jib, genoa)
main sail set for reefing
full and working rigging (ropes, centre board, boom, mast, rudder, toe straps, halyards etc.)
trolley
some sort of bailing system
fittings for outboard motor
sail bags/ boom cover
and be in good working condition, ready to tow away and sail without needing repairs.
preferably have:
main sail set for slab reefing (reefing eyelets in sail)
self bailer
spinnaker (symmetric or a-symmetric)
road trailer
additional buoyancy bags
mast head float
small outboard motor (10-15 hp or something)
boat cover

Family cruising sailing dinghy Excellent Wayfarer World alternative.
The Topper Sport 16 is an excellent high quality 16 foot sailing dinghy designed by Ian Howlett and built by Olympic Gold medal winning builders White formula in Twin skin foam sandwich construction.
These boats are Toppers take on the similar Wayfarer world type dinghy but vastly superior in many respects.
The hull is very deep and self draining which make it very dry to sail and also very confidence inspiring for new sailors, weve sailed the boat at GWSC with our two young sons and have found it extremely stable and easy to sail. The Sport 16 can be crewed by two but can accommodate up to 7 adults which gives you an idea of just how spacious the boat is in comparison to a Wayfarer even though its just 2 inches longer.
On the water you will find that the boom is set very high, my 6 year old can stand under the boom and it still clears his head which I feel is a big safety benefit for family sailing. An outboard can also be added if you choose for cruising. (Not included)
The sail area is moderate at 13.85sqm which makes her comfortable to sail in most wind strengths, we tend to furl the Jib if the wind gets up as she also sails beautify on the main alone. If you fancy a bit of fun just launch the asymmetric spinny and the dinghy completely changes personality and flies. Setting the sail involves just pulling on one rope to pop out the bowsprit and raise the spinny, much, much, much simpler than the old type symmetric and pole arrangement.
The boat I would say is in tidy overall condition (We used her last Saturday), she has a few chips and repairs but nothing you would not expect on a used dinghy. The sails are serviceable and again have had a few repairs but will give years more sailing pleasure.

The boat does not come with a road base but is compatible with the West Mercia 275 Combi. If you are interested in the boat but do not have a suitable trailer there are two options.
1. I will deliver the boat up to 75 miles of St.Neots for a flat fee of £75 . This would be done on a weekday and only after full cleared payment had been received via cash or Bank transfer.
2. Borrow my compatible road base leaving a £300 deposit, which would be returned in full on safe return of my trailer.
