Hull in good condition for age (1958) , sails in excellent condition with no marks or stains almost new condition ,main, genoa and jib with original sail numbers. Wooden mast and boom with all original brass fittings. Rudder with brass pintols etc.Trailer is a real treat, with 1950's style streamline mudguards. This pretty, early boat has been gently renovated in recent years. Prior to our ownership (6 years) it had been sympathetically strengthened and a front buoyancy chamber added. It has dark-stained varnished decks, a varnished wood interior, including floor slats, set over a black-painted hull. Attractive wooden GP14, sail number 1985, built in 1958 by John Swinburne, South Shields, still bearing builder's plate. Solid mahogany frames,rudder and centreboard, many bronze fittings, original wooden mast.Same owner 40 years, used for family cruising on lakes when family young,laid up for 12 years, recently restored. Includes Snipe combination road trailer in very good condition,bouyancy bags,wooden paddle, 2 older foam type bouyancy aids, mainsail, jib, anchor, black Lakeland Plastics cover.
